The Managing Partner at Accent, Howard is a firm believer in taking care of not just your own mind and body, but also giving back to your community. Awarded his FCPA in 2017, he served on the CGA Manitoba and CPA Manitoba Boards, participating in National and Provincial committees. This involvement continues by instructing seminars for the profession, delivering presentations for the CPA Financial Literacy Program, and is an active part of his local Dauphin Rotary Club for over 20 years. After completing the Ironman Canada triathlon in 2008, he went on to participate in various triathlon, half-marathons and marathons and enjoys cycling, swimming, and running in his spare time.

Denise’s favorite part about the many tasks she takes on in a day is the client interaction and building strong client relationships. As the Office Manager, she’s responsible for payroll, accounts receivable and payable, and administrative duties such as reception and answering phones. In her spare time, she loves to travel and enjoys cooking, reading, and spending time with her family and grandchildren.

A passionate home baker and cook, Meanne is an Account Manager with over 7 years of experience in handling client accounts and providing accounting and tax services support. When she’s not shining at work as a Superstar or working her way to America’s Next Top Model, Meanne enjoys spending her time with her family and friends and refining her culinary expertise. She loves to experiment with new recipes and enjoys recreating the food that she grew up with in the Philippines.

A problem solver at heart, John enjoys the unpredictability and challenges of each new day. With over 20 years of experience in accounting, tax preparation, and as an IT enthusiast at Accent CPA, he thrives in his environment. Outside of work, he gravitates towards the outdoors, whether it’s fishing in the summer or hiking in the winter.

From preparing year-end financial statements and adjusting journal entries to balancing accounts and reconciling them, Maan thrives on the challenges that come with the territory. A true lover of arts and music, Maan always has a soundtrack playing—whether crunching numbers in the office or cooking up a storm at home. Maan's passion extends beyond work to include family bonding and road trips. With a sharp analytical mind and a love for maintaining balance in life, Maan works hard to harmonize work and play.

Passionate about the fine details in life, Heather is in her element when she can take all the little pieces and create something beautiful out of them. Whether she’s working on bookkeeping and payroll for clients or her own hobbies, her favorite part of the process is proudly giving away the finished product to her clients, family, or friends. When she’s not sifting mountains of paperwork, she enjoys quilting, sewing, knitting, embroidery, building miniatures, cooking and puzzles.

Melanie is a dynamic Bookkeeper who takes pride in her work, handling everything from bookkeeping and payroll, to assisting with compilation and audit engagements. Always eager to lend a hand, she’s committed to supporting both her team and clients. Melanie’s passion for numbers is evident in every task she undertakes. Beyond the office, Melanie shares her life’s journey on YouTube with her husband, offering inspiration to those facing challenges.
